Job Description

Position Summary

The Operations Support Associate is responsible for a wide variety of projects and regular duties including: 1) creating, maintaining, and preserving documentation including the maintenance of the Company’s Knowledge Base and Document Inventory; 2) collation of various operational reports at regular intervals and ad hoc; 3) ensuring all processes, procedures, and workflows are documented and continuously updated and optimized; and 4) various projects designed to improve efficiency and efficacy in support of NTA Life’s operational departments.  The position will have frequent interaction with all areas of the Company including the New Business Department, Underwriting Department, Policy Owners Services Department, Claims Department, Customer Service Department, and Marketing Department. The position reports to the Operations Support Supervisor.

Essential Functions

  • Maintain the Company Document Inventory and Knowledge Base
  • Create, maintain, and preserve the Company’s documents and forms integral to the efficacy and efficiency of the business
  • Assist in ensuring adherence to the Company’s Document Management style guidelines, branding, processes, procedures, and standards ensuring they meet business needs
  • Maintain the documentation of all organizational and operational processes, procedures, and workflows
  • Various projects designed to improve the efficiency and efficacy of the Company’s operations
  • Coordinate special mailings
  • Edit, proofread, and format written material
  • Complete special projects and work-related duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Technical Writing, Journalism, Communications, English, or related degree preferred
  • One or more years of relevant experience, advanced education, or training
