Job Description

Position Summary

NTA Life Business Services Group (“BSG”) provides third party benefit administration to mid-market employer clients primarily in the public sector. The Group Billing Processor is responsible for providing excellent, personalized service for his/her assigned group billing clients. He/She will provide timely and accurate invoices, reconcile payments, and be the daily point-of-contact for assigned groups.

Essential Functions

  • Reconcile payments for various client groups timely and accurately
  • Proactively outreach to assigned client groups to establish relationship and build rapport
  • Consistently find new ways to deliver excellent service, both internally and externally
  • Research discrepancies by working with internal departments and the client to find resolutions quickly
  • Actively participate and contribute to team projects and team meetings
  • Adhere to all deadlines driven by the business
  • Clearly and effectively correspond with client to clear up payment issues and answer questions
  • Process payroll slip requests to ensure accurate billing
  • Assist with implementation of new groups
  • Process morning deposit
  • Create reports for assigned client groups
  • Participate in BSG and affiliated entity Project Management efforts
  • Assist team members as needed in order to meet team service levels and deadlines
  • This position supports company initiatives and performs other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Experience and Education

  • High School diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s degree preferred 
  • At least 1 year experience in an accounting/billing position preferred
